We are seeking an experienced and driven Centre Director to lead a vibrant, 108-place service located within a bustling shopping complex. This is a unique opportunity to take the reins of a well-established, high-quality centre with a settled team and a consistent occupancy base.
If you are a leader who values high standards, professional family partnerships and a supportive team culture, this is the role for you.
Capacity & Layout: A spacious 6-room service licensed for 108 children.
Location: Conveniently located on the top level of a shopping complex.
The Team: You will be joining a settled, fully staffed team with a great mix of long-serving members, including 3 qualified ECTs.
The Culture: We cater to a mostly professional clientele of families who value quality education and communication. The environment is professional yet warm, with high standards already in place.
True "Off-the-Floor" Management: We believe a Director needs time to direct. We offer a generous rostering system with ample supernumerary hours to ensure you are not rostering yourself to cover ratios. Your focus will be on leadership, mentoring and best practice—not covering lunch breaks.
Incredible Support: You will be supported by a fantastic 2IC (currently the Acting CD) who has done a wonderful job leading the service but is passionate about educating and eager to return to leading her room. You will have a strong right-hand person who knows the centre inside out but is ready to let you lead.
Parking Solved: Forget the stress of finding a park. We provide reserved service parking and access to ample, non-time-limited customer parking right at the door.
Growth Potential: With a solid occupancy baseline (sitting at approx. 70-80% post-school leavers), there is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded Director to drive enrollment and take the service to full capacity.
Qualifications: Minimum Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or higher).
Availability: This is a permanent Full-Time position.
Leadership Style: You have a strong presence. While you won't be in ratio, you are the type of leader who is visible on the floor, modeling best practice and supporting the team.
Communication: You possess the professional communication skills necessary to build strong, lasting relationships with our community of professional families.
Maintain the high operational and educational standards currently in place.
Focus on occupancy growth and marketing strategies for the new year.
Mentor and retain our high-performing team.
